Recently I was given a fixed penalty because when I pulled away from a set of traffic lights I let the clutch out too quick and my motorbike front wheel came off the ground by about 1 to 2 feet. I lowered the throttle and put it back down straight away. Police saw and issued a ticket to me.
However, when I surrendered my licence I noticed that the Officer had not put any of his details on the FPN.
I questioned the tickets validity and received a phone call today from the processing department telling me that it still stands.
Is this FPN valid?
As a consumer, if I make a mistake on any forms I fill in then I am still to blame for not reading the requested info properly. Does this not account for the police also.

What evidence can I demand to ask them to send me (under the Freedom of Information Act?) in order that the validity of their actions relative to the NIP being issued can be verified.(The original NIP was sent to the car owner who wasn't the actual driver at the time. The owner told them that I was the actual driver which inevitably led them to send me a revised NIP which I have received approx 1 month after the alleged offence!)(I presume the 14 day rule does/does not apply when a NIP form has to be re-sent to the actual driver?)
(I presume that by asking for detailed technical information about the camera exact location, calibration certificate etc they will be having to do a lot of 'back-up' research to prosecute/persecute me further! and they might not bother?
For your information, the location was approx 30 miles away from my home and this is the first time I have received a ticket in over 40 years.I have a clean license, and I am a pensioner. Please point me in the right direction.Thank you for any help you can give.

failing to comply with the direction indicated by a green arrow traffic signal
Your road traffic offence question: the offence code is 025a which is incorrect is there anyway i can challenge that on the basis of technicality (wrong information)

the police authority in question- due to an admin error- did not send me a Notice of Conditional Offer and have now issued a Court Summons as time is running out- they have suggested that if I plead guilty before the trial, then the Court may treat it in the same way as a fixed penalty notice- my question is can they do this as they have not served the correct documents on me in time and have admitted as much- thanks for any advice.. (I admitted the offence on the original form but refused their offer of a 4 hour discussion on why I should not speed...)

I was issued with a fixed penalty notice last night for doing 44.97 in a 30 limit. I have noticed this morning that the time of offence on the notice is wrong. It was an hour earlier than it actually happened. Would you advise contesting in court or just cutting my losses and paying?
regards

I was given a speeding ticket for excess speed on 11-04-10.
Upon re-reading the ticket I noticed that the officer had written my incorrect date of birth on the ticket despite being told the date twice and having the details on the screen on his dashboard.
As grounds for challenging this ticket does this constitute a worthwhile endeavour?
Appreciate your advice.
