How Long Do I Get To Report An Accident

How long after an accident do you have to report before it becomes an offence?

If you have an accident whilst driving your car and damage occurs then you have to report it to the police as soon as possible and at the latest within 24 hours.

Were you aware of the accident? Was damage caused?

If you are accused of this offence it carries 5-10 penalty points so be careful. Have you had a letter from the police asking you to name the driver?
