Have you been asked to name the driver at the time? Did the police attend the scene? Who was driving your vehicle?
The driving will be liable for an offence of taking the car without your permission and for driving without due care and attention.
Please make sure that you are not lying to the police about being the driver at the time - otherwise this will get you into far worse trouble if you were the driver. Have you got any points on your licence already? Are you a new driver? Tell me more
