Speeding on the motorway

I was recently clocked doing 98mph on the M4 (West) and have recieved the form for driver identity. I am guilty of this offence, but am worried that I may recieve a ban, which would in turn mean losing my job, house, etc. Is a ban a certainty in this case?

A ban is a possibility but not a certainty.

Have you got any points already? If so how many? Are you a new driver?

You are in the second bracket of the magistrates sentencing guidelines. This means that you are at risk of 4-6 points or a ban of up to 28 days.
