Drivi8ng without insurance - i had an accident !!
My brother had an accident with a pedestrian while driving my car and he was not insured. The pedestrian was trying in the middle of the road trying to cross but he was not at the pedestrian crossing. He was taken by police and he is told to wait to hear from the court.
He did not have permission to drive the car. The pedestrian lost a few teeth I believe and maybe some light facial injury.
What will be the charge of my brother? Who will be liable for the costs relating to the pedestrian? And what will happen to my insurance?

You may get accused of permitting him to drive without insurance (6-8 points) and he may get accused of driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance (3-9 points).
Did he stop and the scene of the accident? If not he could be accused of failing to stop and report which carries 5-10 points.
He will be personally liable for her costs if he wasn't insured he can ask the motor insurance bureau for help.
