The requirement for a speed camera warning sign

Caught on duel carriageway speeding, with only one speeding /camera sign left hand side, is this legal? if you are in the right hand side if the carriageway and a high sided vehicle is approaching the sign at same time, camera sign is not visible

The requirement for a speed camera warning sign is only a guideline, its not a legal requirement, therefore the absence of a sign is not a defence Im afraid.

The only signs that are required by law are the limit signs themselves, unless there is a system of street lighting and is so the limit is automatically 30mph.
