Defective door handle
Hi Emma could you tell me if it is ok to use a mini bus with a broken handle on passenger door.cheers

I cannot think of any offence that would be committed apart from driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition under the construction and use regulations. If a passenger inside the vehicle couldn't get out in an emergency then I think the police would take the view that the offence had been committed. Likewise if an emergency service (e.g. a police office/fireman etc) couldn't get in, in an emergency then I think the same rule would apply.
This offence carries 3 points and a fine if convicted.
Have you been accused of anything?
