Insurance cancelled without my knowledge

I am a Self Employed Financial Adviser who has 6 points on my licence already. I have been caught with no Insurance on my car but the Insurance Company cancelled the insurance policy without my knowledge. Will I lose my licence? I need my car to work!

You may have a special reasons argument to avoid the points on the basis that you genuinely believed that you were covered by insurance. If not you will have to make an exceptional hardship argument to try and avoid the ban. At the time of writing we succeed with these argument over 89% of the time. Come back to me if I can help further.
