GATSO speed camera

I am pretty sure that I was barely over the limit if at all and want to question the accuracy of the GATSO reading. Should I ask the Police to produce the calibration certificate before the case comes to court? Or should I wait in the hope that they will be inefficient and unprepared and not able to produce it on the day? This is a tactical matter because I realise that the court will assume I am guilty unless a doubt can be cast on the evidence. Are the police generally on the ball in these cases or are they usually able to produce the required documentation on demand?

Answer:

The police are normally always on the ball and you will be convicted

Unless you know exactly what you are doing and you have a defence in mind before you attend court. Simply standing up on oath and saying you weren't going that fast will not win this case.

Have you got any points already? If so how many? Have you got a court hearing date? Tell me more.

Have you done the secondary check yet on the photos to see if that stacks up?
