Driving without insurance

I was insured...?
i was aware that i was insured as a fully comprehensive driver, i was pulled over and fined 200 pounds and given 6 points on my liscence, i have also had my liscense taking away. is there anywhere i could protest against this?

If you have paid the fine and taken the points then no there is nothing that you can do. If you haven't paid the ticket then you can defend the matter if you can show that you were insured. If you weren't you can avoid the points if you can show the court that you were under the genuine misaprehension that you were insured.
What stage are you at? I assume that you are a new driver and thats why you have lost your licence?
