Can I appeal after 9 months

9 months ago my son (AGED 17 at the time) was convicted of dangerous driving.however it was stated that he was not driving dangerousely but the scooter was in a dangerous condition. since the offence took place and getting to court (9 months) he had passed his full driving test so was banned for a year and bow will have a DD offence on his licence. i feel this is wrong so can we do anything now

Im afraid not. You would have to get leave to appeal the conviction out of time and you are unlikely to succeed. You are suposed to appeal within 21 days of conviction. You can of course try.
Sorry.
