Two speeding tickets in two days!

I got 2 tickets in the mail today. Apperantly they had a mobile camera for 2 days at the same location. The highway limit drops from 70 to 50 miles and the camera is located shortly after the change. If tickets are suppose to teach you to slow down then why not one ticket to get the message across . Why would they have a camera at the same location 2 days in a row?Can I request to go to school and not get it on my record? 73mph in the 50 zone. Is this even have a chance in court?

Answer:

The 73 in a 50 is going to put you at risk of a ban Im afraid.

Have you got any points on your licence already? If so how many?

The police can offer the speed awareness course but they wont offer it for a 73 in a 50. the speed is way too high.

What was the speed for the other allegation?

Have you been driving for more than two years? If not you will be at risk of your licence being revoked. Do you need to be able to drive to be able to work?

If you were caught twice then there is no argument in relation to the ticket being a deterrent. The court will treat it as a fair cop if the evidence is sound.
