Didn't realise insurance had lapsed.

i was driving my car on x/2010 and got caught by police , and when i showed my insurance papers ,i realised my insurance was over on x/2010// which was a mistake as i thought my insurance policy was geting over in feb. and i was driving on international driving licence. what will happen noe if u could pls let me know

You will get a summons to court and at court you will get 6-8 points and a hefty fine. Have you got any other points on your uk driving record? If so how many?
