Sun in my eyes

Driving on road where building works were going and raod barriers put in place which reduced size of road. Accidentally drove into a no entry one way street. As sun was in eyes and did not properly see the no entry sign. Caused accident in the process. What is likely prospect of disqualification and how many points should be expected.

This is a strict liability offence. That means that you will get 3 points and a £60 fixed penalty. It doesn't matter whether or not you meant to do it. The fact that you did makes you guilty Im afraid.

Have you got any points already? If so how many?

Disqualification is very unlikely unless there was an accident or you have lots of points already?

Do not use online letter packs that claim to "Get yourself off a Speeding Ticket - Guaranteed!"

No two cases are the same. You must not mislead the police. A pro forma letter is not necessarily going to be relevant to the cirmcumstances of your case.

The road traffic police have seen them all a thousand times before.

This case represents our toughest battle to date. It was a battle at every stage involving Magistrates, District Judges, Court Clerks, Cps lawyers and Crown Court Judges. The argument was all about whether a road was public or private.
