Just moving the vehicle into storage
i was caugth driving without insurance last night but as i explained to the officer the car was just being transported to a place off storage but aparently unbeknown to me i aparently had to have insurance would just like a bit off advice

Im afraid that you have to have insurance if you drive a vehicle on a road, no matter what the purpose of the journey.
How long have you been driving? You are going to get 6-8 points for this offence Im afraid. Who did the car belong to? Have you got any opther insurance policies in your name.

If you are a new driver you will be at risk of having to do a full retest for this offence.
