Two months for the notice to arrive
My husband was caught speeding 70 miles an hour which was the limit but he was in a works van and the limit is 60 a fine came though yesterday but the offence was on x is this not too long a gap for a fine?

You normally get told about it within 14 days of the date of the alleged offence, but that only applies if you are the registered keeper of the car. I anticipate it has taken a while for the notice to find its way to your husband. If he accepts the speed alleged and that he was driving he should take it on the chin.
Has he got any points already? If so how many?
