The officer was a few cars back
I was on the M1 with a BMW in front, and a siver citran behind me and an unmarked poice car behind that.
The copper stopped me and said because i have gone of at speed down the slip road he had followed me and then when all 3 of us was doing 90ish i got stopped.

I have defended similar cases where officers are a few cars back. The codes of practice state that the officer must be behind your car in order to do a reliable follow check.
You may well we be able to defend this matter if you are up for a fight.
