New driver - no insurance


hi, i would like to let u know that i had car crashd few days ago and wasnt my fault, i have been driving for two years with valid uk licence also insured since day one,

however, now my insurance company told me they have cancelled my insurance policy last week and the reason is i didnt post my driving licence to them which is i did last year but this year they never ask me to do so. i would be very gratefull if you can provide me some useful advice. thank you

You may have a special reasons argument to avoid any penalty points. Have you got any points already?

If you get 6 points on your licence and you are within the first two years after passing your test your licence will be revoked and you will have to do a full retest Im afraid.
