"Many many thanks for your help during my court case,  I would not have coped on my own in court. Your help and support .. when I was “losing it”, was so appreciated, and the Barrister...was excellent.

The outcome was more than I could ever have wished for and my driving licence was saved, 4 points and a small fine was such a relief. I cannot tell you how glad I was to find your site on the internet after making a mess of the first hearing.  With only a week before the second trial, you pulled out all the stops and had it sorted.

I must admit I was worried at first,  you were so far away from me, an internet site, and I really was not sure I was doing the right thing.   I am so glad I trusted you, you were always at the end of the phone and emailing me any information I needed.  The Barrister you found me (at such short notice) was a local man already known by the court, I could not have had anyone better to be there with me, so friendly and relaxed, he put me at ease straight away.

I had never been in a court of law before, and the 4 points are my first in over 40 years of driving, so a very good outcome in the end. My family are also very grateful, as you know, they depend on me driving so that they can work.

I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who needs help. .."

“Words cannot express how happy I am with the service you provided.By pure chance I came across your website and was not sure if I could trust a solicitor firm that was not local.  How wrong I would have been if I went elsewhere.  You have been fantastic!

You definitely get what you pay for with Patterson Law.  I would be more than happy to tell anybody how professional, polite and organised you were from start to finish.

Words cannot express how brilliant you and your staff are at what they do. You are all a credit to the industry that you work in and there is always somebody at the end of the phone when you need them.  Thank you so much – without Patterson Law, I would be without my driving licence.” June 2010

Alleged Offence: 5 times no insurance coming
Your road traffic offence question: Hi i have been caught 5 times with no insurance in the last 3 months only going to court on friday for the first time... i kept telling the police that i have insurance and i will produce it the only reason i done this is that i didnt want the car to be seized and its my dads car...my dad thinks i have insurance but car is in his name i have been caught a total of 5 times in this car of his.... was caught last year twice i only got a 2 week ban for that... i already have 6 poins and i am a r driver.... i just cant afford insurance...... only reason i got off last time because i was going to work at 9 in the morning any held would be great or advice

Answer;

Im afraid that you are going to be banned from driving and and it will be for at least 6 months if not longer.
You have to have insurance. You cannot chose not to buy it. If you cannot afford it then you cannot drive.
If you drive whilst disqualified you will be at serious risk of being sent to prison.
You need to understand the purpose of insurance.
If you were to hit and injure someone without insurance they could end up disabled for life and would not get any compensation to help them to live in comfort or to provide for their children etc.
You are being very irresponsible and putting everyone else in danger. i don't normally get angry or preach to people but in this case you must appreciate that you are putting everyone else at risk of the court will have no sympathy.

There is no way that you are going to avoid a ban this time round and I think it will be for a long time....

This case represents our toughest battle to date. It was a battle at every stage involving Magistrates, District Judges, Court Clerks, Cps lawyers and Crown Court Judges. The argument was all about whether a road was public or private.
