Insuarnce cancelled without my knowledge

Alleged Offence: DRIVING WITHOUT INSURANCE
Your road traffic offence question: I WAS STOPPED WITHOUT INSURANCE NOT KNOWING MY POLICY HAS BEEN CANCELLED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. AM A STUDENT AND CAN'T AFFORD LEGAL COST, WHAT ARE IF ANY, MY DEFENCE TO FIGHT THE POINTS AS I'VE HAD MY LICENSE WITHIN 2YEARS

If your insurance was cancelled because you didn't pay the direct debits that were due then Im afraid that you will not be able to avoid the 6-8 points that you will get unless you can persuade the court to give you a short ban instead of the points.
If you get a short ban then  you don't get the points and you will avoid having your licence revoked and having to do a full retest.
If you would like my help then I would charge a fixed fee of £300 plus vat to deal with the court proceedings and present written mitigation on your behalf to try and persuade the court not to put the points on your licence.
