Totting bans penalty point ban
Sep 13, 2010
Do I have to tell my employer if I get a driving ban.
Alleged Offence: Speeding - totting up to 12 points
Your road traffic offence question: Do the courts who impose a ban for totting up 12 points inform your employer of your driving ban. The reason i ask is that my job involves occasional driving duties and in theory i could lose my job even though its entirely feasable that i may not have to drive as part of my work during the course of any ban.

The court will not inform your employer. It's up to you to do that if you get a ban, but you have to bear in mind that it is a public court and the magistrates decision can be reported in the local press.
If you would like my help defending the ban and trying to persuade the court that you would suffer exceptional hardship as a result of the ban then I will be happy to assist.
Come back to me if you would like my help. I successfully help over 90% of my clients avoid this type of ban.

Do not use online letter packs that claim to "Get yourself off a Speeding Ticket - Guaranteed!"
No two cases are the same. You must not mislead the police. A pro forma letter is not necessarily going to be relevant to the cirmcumstances of your case.
The road traffic police have seen them all a thousand times before.

This case represents our toughest battle to date. It was a battle at every stage involving Magistrates, District Judges, Court Clerks, Cps lawyers and Crown Court Judges. The argument was all about whether a road was public or private.
