Do you recognise the registration number of the car involved? Has that car ever belonged to you?
You need to tell the police if you think someone has been using your identity. You will get court summonses/fines and penalty points if you do not address this issue so you need to act fast.
Make sure you are telling the truth otherwise you wil be at risk of perverting the course of justice charges if it was you driving/stopped..
