"Dear Ria ....I am sure that you are under no illusions that the work which you have done on my specific case and which you and your colleagues undertake in the wider sense, makes a very real difference to those who find themselves in need of your help. It is of course accepted that motoring laws exist so as to safeguard the general interests of the public and I'm not suggesting that those who break motoring laws should in all circumstances receive assistance to mitigate the penalty arising. However, what I am suggesting is that there seems to be a deep-rooted inflexibility towards motorists who, being such a lucrative potential source of additional revenue, can find themselves facing the full force of a criminal justice system which seems uninterested in distinguising between those with criminal intent, from those whose breach of the law warrants special consideration.
For those who, like me, believe that they belong in the latter category in relation to their particular case, the risk of attracting points (which, ultimately, could lead to the gaining of sufficient points so as to face a driving ban and possible loss of employment), is intolerable. It is in these circumstances that the work which Patterson Law undertakes, is so very important. To reiterate, the work which you and your colleagues carry out, really can make a difference to those whose breach of the law warrants special attention.
With regards to the advice which you and Emma have provided with regards to my specific case, I readily affirm that the advice I've received has been candid, relevant, succinct, honest and clear throughout.
