Single Justice Procedure Notice

What is it?

A Single Justice Procedure Notice (SJPN) is a document the Court will send to you outlining the offences you are charged with and giving you the opportunity to enter a plea. It will give you the option to either enter a plea online or by post returning the forms they send to you.

The form will give you the option to plead guilty or not guilty. If you are pleading guilty, it will ask whether you wish to plead guilty without having to attend Court or plead guilty but request a hearing. You need to be careful here as if you are at risk of a ban and opt not to go to Court then there is a risk they could disqualify you in your absence.
