Traveling at 29 in a 20 mile per hour zone, over a bridge
Can you be prosecuted for traveling at this speed if the cameras are not clearly visible and are there for the purpose of preserving the bridge and the colour to ensure it blends in with the background,of the bridge? Do I have to say who was driving in accordance with the question on the form?
I am afraid that the cameras do not have to be visible for you to be prosecuted. There are guidelines that they should be but it is not required by law I’m afraid.
Sorry, the only defence is if you can cast a doubt on the suggestion that you were speeding. You do have to name the driver otherwise you risk 6 points for failing to do so.
