If my case goes to court can they get evidence from phone records that I was on the phone through the battery number?

Not from the battery number no.

The police rarely try to get the phone records. They normally rely solely on what the officer says he saw. You will struggle to defend yourself though if you don’t get the records to show that you were not on the phone.
