Young Driver – Driving Without Due Care And Attention?

Question:

I was pulled over for driving without due care and attention. Speeding and undertaking.

I am a young driver (I know what you’ll think by the sound of that). I run a company and use my car to get me to and from work as it is key to my job, I work a lot of night shifts.

I was really just looking for information towards this offence as I really have no clue as to what to expect.

points and fine wise, is there a course I can take to improve the driving and lessen the points?

Emma Says:

You are going to be at risk of 3-9 penalty points or a ban for driving without due care and attention. Sometimes the police can be persuaded to let you do the driver improvement course as an alternative to a prosecution. Has this been suggested?

If you are in the first 2 years of driving you will be at risk of revocation if you get 6 points or more which will mean that you have to do a full retest.

If the incident was really nasty then they could charge you with dangerous driving. This carries an instant ban for at least 12 months and a mandatory retest before you can get your driving licence back again.

Would you like my help liaising with the police on your behalf to try and get you on the course? I charge a fixed fee of £300 plus vat to try and do this and have over a 90% success rate.

Come back to me if you want my help because we would need to act fast.
