I Was Heading Away From The Speed Trap

I have received a notice of intended prosecution for traveling at 45 mph in a 30 limit by Lastec camera, at the time of alleged offence I was moving away from the speed trap camera on the opposite side of the road, have I a case?

I’m afraid the speed trap devices can be used in both directions.

In order to defend this matter you would have to create a doubt in relation to the allegation, for example by showing that the officer did not use the speed trap device properly. You don’t get to see the officer evidence unless you commit to taking the matter to court.
