Fully Comprehensive Insurance On Other Car

Question:

I have just been given 6 points on my licence for no insurance. I have insurance on my second car and this is fully comprehensive insurance, yet still the police officer said I need to change my insurance before driving the first car.

Paula Says:

I’m afraid your insurance on your second car will only cover you for driving another car owned by another person with their permission. It will not cover you to drive multiple vehicles owned by you. You need a policy per car if you own all the vehicle or a multicar policy.

Have you got any points already? If so, how many? Are you a new driver?
