I Have Tax But No Insurance

I have tax on my car but no insurance it runs out today will my car be clamped because of this? The insurance company are closed today.

You need to have car insurance if your vehicle is driven or kept on a public road or in a public place – otherwise you will get 6-8 penalty points and a hefty fine.

There is no defence to this matter unless you can prove that you were insured.
