I Let My Friend Drive My Car

Question:

I let my friend drive my car without her being insured on it and she only had a provisional license whats the likely outcome?

Paula Says:

You face 6-8 points and a fine if the police have accused you of permitting her to drive your car without insurance. She faces 6-8 points and a fine for using a car without insurance.

I assume that you are a new driver? If you are in the first two years after passing your test you will get your licence revoked if you get 6 points or more.

I can help you with this matter. We may be able to persuade the court to give you a short discretionary ban instead of the points.

Did you think she was insured? Tell me more. You may have a special reasons argument.
