I Set My Cruise Control To 30mph

Exceeding 30mph limit

I have received a penalty notice for allegedly driving at 39mph in a 30mph zone.

I remember seeing the mobile van and slowing to 30mph & setting my cruise control before entering the 30mph zone, how can I question this?

Are you sure that you were not in a 30 limit when you first saw the police car/van?

You would have to take the matter to court in order to challenge the speed alleged if you do not accept that you were speeding. This means rejecting the fixed penalty and risking higher fines and court costs if you are convicted at court.
